Guns on TV

American Rifleman looks at the top shows with guns. Apparently, gun safety was not taught on the set of Charlie’s Angels.

    From the article:

So many different firearms were used in the 1980s hit “The A-Team” that it’s impossible to list them all.

    Challenge Accepted.

That was extremely disappointing… The only show on TV that ever featured any type of good gun handling was Miami Vice… The rifleman I agree with, but only because of the opening credits… Rawhide would be another nostalgia pick… The A-Team… give me a break… The only reason why no one ever got killed on the show is because they never used their sights, or unfolded the stocks on the Mini-14s… I’d ad the X-files, and maybe Magnum PI because they actually seemed to be not scared that they had blank firing dummy gun on set….

Hey, Don’t knock Charlies Angels. We use that show as one of the great examples of how NOT to grip your pistol with two hands….. 🙂
“Nothing is ever a COMPLETE failure, it can always be used as a bad example.”

  4. Jeffersonion Says:

    Charlies Angels had guns?

  5. Jeffersonian Says:

Sorry. Spelled my own name wrong.

  6. Drang Says:

Charlie’s Angels, featuring that gun-handling pose known as The Full Sabrina. (AKA “Picking your nose with a J Frame”…)

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
