I carry a .22mag NAA as a BUG in my left pocket. I have no worries about it being effective if I need it, because I do practice with it. Of course, the other BUG I carry is a .25 Beretta, and I’m happy with it too. I consider a BUG to be a gun you use as a last resort, and you change tactics with it, rather than standing as far away as you can get and moving away, you get in close and use it in contact range.
I’ve been wanting a .22mag NAA for BuG or “ultra deep concealment” purposes for a while now. Not my first choice for defense but better than a sharp pointy stick…
I carry a .32 NAA at work. It is the only thing I have found that I can conceal (with a holster) while working. It is accurate enough to give me 3½” groups at 7 yards. Or perhaps I should say, I am accurate enough with it at 7 yards. I have a friend who can get 3″ groups with it at 15 yds.

I’ve actually read probably 5 different news stories of old geezers stopping home invasions with an NAA mini – No joke.
