Abolish the tax on hearing protection
I’m told this photo of someone you may know will be a poster at the NRA convention.

Yes, but she shoots like a girl…. whatever that means π

But wait, isnt this what we constantly bemoan the liberals for doing… parading out the children to further their agenda? π

We only parade live children.

Move suppressors to Title I with federal preemption.
April 15th, 2011 at 11:05 am
It seems to me that any responsible government should prefer to make reasonably available any firearm safety equipment in the interest of protecting its children and their hearing.

There is enormous potential economic gain by de-listing suppressors from the NFA. Can you think of another product $100-$1000 in price that 90% of 90 million people don’t have that would buy it with the simple waiving of a legal obstacle? There is a potential $36 BILLION market that’s being artificially held back by a single outdated law that serves no useful purpose.

And don’t forget the Tax Revenue generated via Sales Taxes, Fuel Taxes, (gotta move them from the Factory, right?), Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and other Payroll Taxes that would be generated, along with all the New Hires and the money spent on Industrial Capital.
Of course, Colt would claim Patent Rights, then never make a Single One.

Gunmart: I actually complemented a new shooter that he shot like a girl.

Weer’d Beard-
Oh, girls are great shooters…. and inexperienced female shooters very quickly learn to be great shooters.
I was just making jokes with that original post

So the threatening dark-haired, dark-glassed, ghotied “Uncle”-looking male has been replaced by a smoov-smoov generic model? No subtle sexism there. It’s just The Way Things Are. We have them practically self-selecting now.
Sure wish we could see her shoes! Bet they’re fabulous.

comatus,
Man, she really fucked you up, didn’t she?

“Sure wish we could see her shoes! Bet theyre fabulous.”
She was barefoot, hence the tighter crop on the image. Shoe money was spent on the excise tax stamp.

Oleg,
You know those shrieking harpies of the radfem movement, who go on endlessly about how all sex is rape and view every little thing, from the institution of marriage to commercials about breakfast cereal through a magic gender filter?
comatus is like that, but with a dick.

HL sez: “It seems to me that any responsible government should prefer to make reasonably available any firearm safety equipment in the interest of protecting its children and their hearing.”
Don’t go giving those bastards any ideas, HL: MY kids are NOT the gubmint’s. You want to give them yours, that’s your bidness…. they need to leave mine the hell alone.

Heh. This reminds me of a post I put up on The High Road a while back, about getting the govt. to buy you a suppressor under the ADA law. Auties and Aspies tend to be annoyed more by sudden loud noises than you normal monkeys, so should be given free suppressors. Hey, I betcha it would cost less than all those curb cuts!

Ok, I get that the woman on the left is teh sexxay. But am I the only one that is impressed at how well Uncle’s little girl is doing with the trigger control?
You done good, Unc.

Having just visited Oleg’s blog, I discovered that I envy him. He’s an excellent photog, and he has a knack for finding interesting scenery.
