I wanted to create a body of work that could be dropped in the lap of any jerk who wanted to use the made-up and disrespectful metric of “Gun Death” as a means to further a dishonest political agenda.
The “heated object” is probably a vaporizer, a heating pad, or an electric blanket. All of these have resulted in harm to infants. I am surprised they do not want to ban washing machines, clothes dryers, and microwave ovens, each of which have done more damage to children than all the heating pads and electric blankets in existance.

Don’t forget pools. Far more kids drown in backyard pools than are killed by firearms or just about any other cause. See: Freakonomics.

GD, pools? Bathtubs. Lots of deaths and injuries.

John, good point, maybe we should just ban the kids. That seems to be the common denominator here.
