I thought badges and government paychecks are all that’s needed for one to be an expert marksman…

Something about this story doesn’t add up.

    [/sarcasm]

  2. Steve Wood Says:

See…there are valid needs for 33 round magazines!

  3. Tom D Says:

A badge simply gives these former bullied geeks a license to shoot and kill anything and anyone. They have no checks and balances anymore, and are never held accountable for their actions. The idiots who continue to elect city leaders are the ones responsible for this state of affairs

Stand up and tell the city council what you think, and then vote to recall, or vote for someone that will listen to citizens.

  4. Scott Says:

Well that just proves that cop is unfit to be a law enforcement officer and on top of being DISHONORABLY discharged he should have his right to own firearms revoked if he is that retarded with them.

  5. ATLien Says:

I will celebrate the day something as stupid as this happens and the owner shoots and kills the cops for killing their dog for no reason.

  6. Robert Says:

Cops these days make their bones with dogs. You can’t be respected as an LEO if you haven’t fired your weapon in a confrontation. Killing dogs is pretty lame, but it counts.

  7. Huck Says:

Robert, back when I was a young ‘un in the ’60s and early ’70s I remember how the proudest boast a LEO could make was that they’d never had to fire their weapon in the performance of their duty. A cop like Dirty Harry Callaghan was considered to be extreme in those days. He’d be a improvement over what’s wearing badges nowadays because he shoots only armed bad guys and rarely misses. It’s sad how things have changed.

    Is that a “Dog-Pop”, like a “Desk-Pop”?

  9. Susan Says:

I have to agree with Scott. This officer has no business with a badge or a firearm if an 8 month old dog running toward him panics him enough to kill the dog and spray 33 rounds all over a neighborhood. This man is a danger to society. Obviously, this department has NO minimum standards at all for hiring.

This same thing happened 20 years ago in Caryville, TN. We used to have a police office named…let’s call him “Freddie”. For “Freddie”, saturday night was SWAT night. This is a town of about 1000 people. It doesn’t even have a fast food joint. “Freddie” would dress in his BDU’s, SWAT hat, and low ride holster, etc.

He was called in for a problem with a Dog, and he responded with a full magazine, reload, and another full magazine.

    What an asshat.

  11. Sigivald Says:

So that’s why they need “Assault Clips” and us little people shouldn’t have them.

  12. Jailer Says:

What ever happened to s swift kick on the snout? I had a paper route as a kid and turned away more than a few charging dogs with a single kick.

  13. Robin Says:

Nothing to see here. The department investigated and the officer followed all procedures correctly 🙁

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
