Guns in bars
All across the land, some 40 or so states allow those with carry permits to go heeled in establishments that serve alcohol. The push for these bills is always met with howls, bleats and screeches from anti-gunner and editorial boards (but I repeat myself) about how there will be shoot outs in bars and mass death and on and on. But it keeps not happening. And Ohio will be no different.

Apparently we had at least one person open-carrying at the Indy blogmeet. To tell the truth, I didn’t even notice.

Just where is all of the park gun crime that the antis predicted last year would occur in Tennessee?
Ironically, some of the same types who rail/lie about gun crime increase if people are permitted to carry guns in (you name the venue – churches, bars, restaurants, massage parlors, etc.) are the same ones who erroneously predict an increase in drinking-related traffic deaths if a backwards County or Municipality joins the 21st century and ceases being dry.

Fair warning if you click on snoopycomputer’s link, there’s some pants-shitting-hysteria in the first paragraph:
“Three people were killed and two were injured after a man with a high-capacity, semi-automatic handgun began shooting inside a bar packed with people.”
