I dont smoke weed (or maybe I do) but this bothers me because its govt getting their hands on medical records. Why do they need this? They dont… but its a politically correct way to start the ball rolling.
Marijuana may have some therapeutic values, but it is no more a prescription medicine than any other herbal supplements where there is no set dosage regulation.
Okay, here we go: As an American Peon in the 21st Century, you should be on the following lists at a minimum- Birth Certificates; Local, State and Federal Tax Records; Social Security; Motor Vehicles; School Systems; Banks; Mortgages; Telephone and ISP’s; Snail Mail; Doctors, Dentists, Pharmacies and other Health Care Providers; Insurance Companies; Credit Card Companies. Add in Voter Registration, Passports, Military Service, Gun Purchases, Airline Tickets and other Voluntary Activities, and you are on more Lists than you think.
But they destroy the Background Checks when I purchase a Firearm, you say? Well, here’s the Rub. Say you go to Ye Olde Firearms Emporium and decide to purchase that new Pistol you saw at the NRA Con. Fill out the forms, everything is cool, and you hand over the Credit Card to pay for it, then you leave the premises. The next day, the BATFEIEIO decides to see who is purchasing what, and they search the Credit Card Transactions that took place the previous day at the Ye Olde Firearms Emporium. Sure enough, there is your Credit Card with the $542.07 you spent there. Then they walk in, ask the clerk how much does a (Fill in the Blank) cost out the door, they run those numbers through their software, and they know what you did yesterday, and that you are the Proud Owner of a (Fill in the Blank), and it’s all Legal under the Patriot Act. And if it isn’t Legal, well, this is the BATFEIEIO, after all.

Of course will they use it to not attack people smoking a naturally growing plant, but for doctors writing bogus prescriptions?

The only list I want to be on is a list of people who don’t want to be on lists.
Wait a sec…

You are already on their lists. Do you have an SSN? Pay taxes?
