Milestones
Last night, my son graduated pre-school. Starts kindergarten soon. I’m not all weepy yet since his last day of school is next week. But I’ll miss that place.
And, this morning, I dropped Junior off for her last day of first grade. She didn’t seem to care about it too much. But I did.
When this happens, I sit back and wonder where the years went. And someone reminded me on Facebook that They may have went, but they were full.
Indeed.

Today was my son’s last day as a freshman in HS. Every year goes too fast.

Congrats – those are fun years. I’m sending my only child to college in two months.

Huh. Mine have another month left (would be 3 weeks but we had a rough winter).
Baby Girl G. is finishing second grade. TheBoy is finishing fourth.
It does go fast. I try not to blink much.

Congratulations.
But… “graduated pre-school”? Those words do not belong together.

I remember the days, doesn’t seem so long ago. Relish them while you have them 🙂 Mine’s freshman in HS now; next week is the last. Looking forward to a couple months off, hehe, hope they get this shit straight and don’t start on August 9th.

Yeah, and for everybody but Karl: In two weeks, it’ll be “credit card, car keys & college.” My oldest grandchild finishes first grade this year.

Make that “finishes first grade this week.”
sheesh.

Sorry, but if you don’t list it on a job app, you didn’t graduate from there.
Other than that, gz
