This has GOT to be ripe for a lawsuit under the 14th Amendment: the unequal protection of the law is blatant.
If a person applied for a waiver and didn’t get it, that gives them “standing”, doesn’t it?

You’d’a thought being a citizen would give you standing on that citizenship issue, but the courts kept specifically denying the cases on that very basis. It got me wondering just who would have standing. Now, why do I get the idea the same thing would happen here?
