Wow meth manufacture has just miraculously plummeted… NOT!!!!!! All this law will do in encourage meth makers to rob stores. It is too bad citizens cannot legally sue lawmakers who create junk laws when those laws get people killed.

The Feds already have the drug regulated and as usual the States are piling on. All these stupid laws do is punish the actual patients who need this medication. It is the only allergy drug that doesn’t put me to sleep so being allergic to everything that grows and blooms in Arizona, I buy a LOT of it, or rather what the lawmakers will allow me to purchase. If the police would get after the people who steal the stuff in large quantities, from the stores, delivery trucks and warehouses, they’d actually put a dent in the meth racket. Oh yeah, get after the outlaw bikers and other gangs who make their living making and selling the meth.

Why not? After all it’s worked so well with every other item or substance they’ve registered.

A wonderful idea! I was told in school the reason we are graded on History is so that we do not repeat our mistakes of the past, but now it is clear that this does not apply to politicians. Prohibition of over the counter medication will have unintended consequences yet to be seen, but as John Smith said “All this law will do in encourage meth makers to rob stores.”, and I agree. What will this program cost tax payers in Tennessee? I have never had an issue with a meth head, and so far as I can see if they are left to do what they will, society would only have to deal with them for a short period of time anyway.

Every politician that does this needs to be punched in the face. Repeatedly.

It is important to be Seen To Be Doing Something.
That’s how politics works.
Even if the Something isn’t actually Anything, or is Worse Than Nothing.
