We’re winning
Chicago Police Chief distancing himself from gun control, Daley:
“My goal is to bring the gun debate back to the center,” McCarthy told aldermen. “I think that we have abolitionists on one side and I think that we have NRA and those kind of folks on the other side, and frankly it’s too polarizing a debate, and 95 percent of the country is somewhere in between.”
And carry permits are up. In Sacramento, California!

If I recall correctly Sebastian from SIH has said that when polled around 50 million people think they’re in the NRA.
That’s 15% of the population.
So, no, McCarthy, I don’t think 95% of the people are really in the “center” on this one.

Unc, McCarthy is from Newark NJ, so he speaks with forked tongue. If you watch Brick City, you can see first hand on what has to say about 2A rights.

I guess I’m in the NRA – they keep sending me membership cards. But I haven’t signed anything, nor have I sent them money.

There is no Debate. Constitutional Rights existed long before I was Born, and will exist long after I Die. One does not “Debate” Gravity, nor the Earth’s Rotation, nor does it matter whether someone thinks Rights need to be “Debated” at all. Enough of this Twaddle. If you don’t want to follow the Constitution, leave the United States, give up your Citizenship, and live in somewhere else.

Yeah; the conflict between liberty and tyranny is “too polarizing”.
I do like the use of the word “abolitionists” though. If he’s using that, he may be starting to understand something. “Prohibitionists” would be better.
