I haven’t shot or bought any of the S & W, Sig or Ruger 1911A1s. Ditto for Rock Island, Magnum Research and some of the other $500 models. Nothing against them, I just haven’t tried them yet.
Maybe I will one day – I kind of like some of the Sig models and I like the S & W 9mm version.
But the Glock G 1911 looks pretty good to me. I have been waiting for it to produce a 1911a1, but rather doubtful that it would ever actually do so.
Dude, good one, had me going there for a while. Its really funny because if there are two more different pistol designs than a Glock and a 1911 I would like to see them.

Ok it’s Photoshopped, but that’s the only Glock I’d ever buy!

Too bad that’s a ‘shop – it actually looks very nice.
If Glock were to venture into the 1911 market, and could keep their same rugged reliability and competitive price, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one.

The only way Gaston would ever enter the 1911 market would be if he ordered the G21s rollmarked “1911”.
