And to make matters worse, I hear she had the audacity to park her car in her driveway!
Meantime, rapes and murders go unsolved.

Nice neat plant boxes and the entire area landscaped with mulch. It looks nice and meets the definition of the code.
City planner is going to look like an ass when this goes before a judge.

And of course, many of the so-called of the “liberal” ilk do not believe a woman should have the CHOICE to keep and carry the means to protect their own bodies from rape and murder…nor to to grow vegetables to enhance the health of their body.

Got a letter a few years back from my HOA here in Texas, in August, during the best drought and hottest summer we’d had since the Dust Bowl days. HOA was unhappy with the dead shrubs out front.
I wrote them back immediately and asked for their suggestions about landscaping plants (which are required per HOA rules) that could survive the 120+ temperatures common against that wall in afternoon sun. I did not hear back from them, although I am still waiting.
All the homeowner in the story has to do is take a picture of the White House South Lawn Garden to the first judicial hearing.

Duh, she should have been parking it in the parkway.

Very sick. Not that long ago Victory Gardens were patriotic and necessarily.

Local governments are running out of money. In spite of that, they are still wasting a disproportionate amount of time and resources on matters such as this one. In many cases, the perception is that the easiest way to reduce the budget is to fire people as it can quickly eliminate tangible chunks of payroll expenditures. Granted, all government agencies in one way or another are notorious for having excessive staffing and this works for a while.
Here comes the ‘however’: However, despite the reduction in personnel to keep said local government running, they are in many cases still required to spend fabulous amounts of treasure (our tax dollars) on enforcing existing laws and codes.
I submit that if such local governments are in as dire need to reduce their expenditures so as to “live within their means”, they can better serve both the government entity itself and their constituents by reducing the number of issues they spend (waste?) our money regulating. I would be almost willing to bet that a few strategic repeals here and there will go a lot further toward a balanced budget than laying off the entire workforce.

Remember that no one owns property. You rent it from the town. Build a house on it and you get to pay rent on it also. There is no such thing as real estate tax. I’ts rent. The basic plan is to not allow individuals to own anything and therefore be completely dependant on the gov. Jack.

You park in the driveway, but drive on the parkway ….
