No financial incentive to the airlines, no reason to change. Airlines understand business, so long as almost every seat is filled, they have no incentive to change this.
Just returned from a 1000 mile each way trip. Yes it took longer, but my Kimber was with me every mile!
This will ONLY change when there is financial reason for it to change. Until then, no chance!
The TSA was never intended to keep you safe. It was put in place to keep you home. They will make travel so inconvenient and abusive that you won’t bother any more. They are teaching children (who should never be put into this situation by a caring parent) that travel is bad.
Totalitarian regimes always control the movements of their citizens. You are much easier to keep track of if you just. stay. home.
Interesting civics lesson for the kids, and it may go a good ways towards immunizing them against the liberal “gov’t is here to take care of you” indoctrination of the schools. If they’ve already learned to distrust and even hate the government from something like this, the teachers will have a much harder time getting them to believe they should mindlessly obey.

I still say its simple, stop flying!
2 days, and they would be begging us to return.
