Shutdown
The Minnesota government has been shut down a few weeks. No one noticed until the beer licenses stopped. A possible due process violation?

That’s not entirely true. I am supposed to be in Minnesota next week. Had planned on going fishing. But i can’t purchase a fishing license. So I’ll be playing golf instead (or ideally, rescheduling the trip till a point when I can go fishing)

The state requires a license, but has no money to issue licenses, but does have money to pursue people for not having licenses.

If a gov’t shuts down for weeks and nobody notices, what does that say for how much people NEED what they’re doing…

Good to know. Been meaning to restock the liquor cabinet and beer supplies anyway.

So the DemaCommie Governor has decided to stick with his Union Thug Supporters rather than the ordinary Citizen of MinniYota, huh? I’d laugh, but somewhere up there, someone’s CCW Application is in Limbo.

“Give us your money or we’ll withhold your beer!”
That just tells us we need to pry government’s grubby hands off of the alcohol business.
And the fishing business apparently. All land should be privately owned anyway, and in that case you’d be dealing with the land owners, who’d be falling all over themselves to win your fishing business, and not dealing with some sniveling bureaucrat.
