In my opinion, Yukari Mihamae is the Rosa Parks of the 21st century.
Not quite how I pictured the first spark of revolt against TSA excesses. But then, who could have guessed that the grave of Jim Crow was dug by a black woman saying “NO” when ordered to give up her bus seat?
Mihamae’s actions highlight clearly the double standards at play here: when the TSA twists a woman’s breast, it is for “your safety”; when a citizen reacts with the exact same action, it is deemed “felony sexual abuse”. It effectively legitimizes the principle that government is beyond the law.

“…became argumentative before she squeezed and twisted the agent’s breast with both hands.”
Sounds to me like Ms. Mihamae was applying for a job with the TSA.

Well now, that sounds like good public policy. Let the public grope the TSA before getting groped by the TSA. How many TSA “agents” do you think would willing go along with this shit then? Of course, you would really have to worry about the ones who would welcome the groping.

This is a PERFECT example of where jury nullification should come to the fore. Let them charge her. Let them try her. Let her off scot-free.

Ellen,
“What’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the *other* goose.”
Damn, I wish I’d typed that. 🙂
