ATF and FBI conspired to sell guns to felons
When asked about the breakdown, Stephen Fischer, a spokesman for the NICS System, said the FBI had no comment. However, an ATF agent who worked on the Fast and Furious investigation, told Fox News that NICS officials called the ATF in Phoenix whenever their suspects tried to buy a gun. That conversation typically led to a green light for the buyers, when it should have stopped them.
Oh, my.

Well! This pretty well demolishes any arguments about this being a rogue/moronic ATF operation.

Who knew the Zetas had a mole in the ATF?

Is there any way that Arizona and Texas state law enforcement can start indicting ATF and FBI officials for breaking state gun laws?

The press would be all over this – I mean the body count is way higher than a third-rate burglary at a hotel – except for the fact that the (D) and the (R) critters still seem to be yammering on about defaults and granny not getting her SS check.
So stimulus money went via the FBI to convicted felons to buy guns while the FBI hacked the government computers to allow the illegal sales; while the BATF twisted the thumbscrews of the private FFL dealers who did not want to make the sales, so that they would; and the BATFU agents were hot on the tail of the firearms all the way to the border, where they just let them go to god knows where.
How many government employees are going to walk thanks to “sovereign immunity’ this time?
