My invisible man in the sky can beat up your invisible man in the sky
Death to the infidels! I mean, honestly, isn’t that their problem with the religion of peace?

As an atheist, I find the lack of balls on the part of that group of atheists appalling.
Going after soft targets is almost declaring that you are a group of pussy’s without even the intestinal fortitude of a 3 month old kitten.

That’s part of the problem isn’t it?
“Going after soft targets” and “invisible sky person” comments?
What’s wrong with just, “I’m an atheist, you are a Christian, we disagree”. Why “go after” anything? Why throw insult on top of simple disagreement about the meaning of the 1st Amendment (on a topic that won’t kill anyone at the end of the day)?
While the snark and often outright insulting comments about the intelligence and credulity of believers might be a response to some few believers harping on the “going to hell” bit, does that justify them?
Nothing justifies a “feed ’em to the sharks” response to such derision, but the very valid perception, due to outspoken, snarky if not outright insulting, pop culture atheists (who are then mimiced by many bandwagon “normal” atheists) is that you aren’t just disagreed with if you’re a Christian, you must be an idiot be one.
Smugly telling someone they are an idiot is not a good way to get a nice response in return.

I don’t like evangelical atheists who find they need to “debate” everyone about their religion.

I’m saving my Righteous Anger for those who are a REAL Threat to the Republic. Funny, thing is, they all seem to be really good at robbing me of my green pieces of paper that say “In God We Trust”, yet they control how much of it is Printed and then Overspent, yet they still want mine. And they all work inside Washington D.C. Let’s start with them.

Atheism is the dominant religious philosophy in most of the west. Atheists do ban religious symbols being used openly by for example school kids in France. They do have “Atheism” meetings, etc. So as far as I can tell, Atheists does everything politically that they accuse Christians of doing. All of this should be a moot point though, and luckily for the US (but not Europe) it mostly is, because we have the first amendment to keep political power away from religious preferences.
