It’s gonna be hard for the prosecuter to prove “intent to embarass” given that the Renton Police Department apparently has absolutely no sense of shame.

I live in Renton. I ride my bike by city hall everyday.
I see these cops everyday…
How am I supposed to view these people given their outrageous reaction to nonspecific satire?
What am I supposed to feel when one of their brand new Charger patrol cars pulls up behind me in traffic?
Or when they show off their tank at public fares like our recent Renton River Days. Look citizens, we have a tank… think about that the next time you want to assert your rights…
Renton is better than it used to be, but it’s still has some very dangerous places. The state run liquor store on Rainier Ave is the only one I’ve seen that has an armed cop assigned to it.
Yet our police are focusing their resources on this…
So how am I supposed to feel when I see them at the farmers market?
