The S&W M&P9 C

Three Criticisms. I have the full-size version and am quite fond of it.

All valid points he makes. I carry a M&P9c as my carry gun and like it a lot. Here’s my feedback on his feedback.

Square corners on slide — agree that they would be better rounded. Mine doesn’t seem to print any worse because of it so for me it is a “Meh”

LCI — agree again with him although I’ve become so ingrained in doing a press check on all my pistols that I don’t notice. I would like to have an LCI, though.

Mag catch — must be his gun. I own both the compact and full size versions of the M&P9 and it doesn’t happen. He should swap out the part and see if it fixes it.

I’m surprised he didn’t mention the trigger. It isn’t the best (mushy and indistinct reset) but can easily be improved with the addition of the Apex kit.

Having tried Uncle’s, I didn’t really notice the trigger feeling mushy when shooting. But I’m right with you on the reset.

I am also very fond of the full size M&P.
While true; these are pretty minor criticisms.

As a revolver dinosaur attempting to evolve, I found the balance and hand fit ergonomics better for me than Glock, and prefer the trigger to the Sig 250.

I’ve got a M&P40c, and plan on using it, or a 9c for a carry gun. haven’t gotten to shoot it as much as I like, but I do like it.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
