Weekend Visitor
Commenter and all around miscreant Laughingdog came by this weekend for a visit. He was here to do dangerous things involving his motorcycle and a nasty section of road. He brought me some 18 year old Irish whiskey and some kick ass brownies. Seriously, some awesome brownies. And he got a sample of some of my grilling.
He’s a competition shooter. He gave me some tips and pointers since I apparently have forgotten how to shoot a handgun. I need to dry fire a lot more. And shoot more.
And he showed up wearing a cool shirt.

Ooooh, did he bring his raspberry brownies? Because I think my wife would leave me for a plate of those things.

What a cool guy. Best shirt evar, brownies, motorcycle, alcohol. Sounds like you have all the best friends.

Ah… the Tail of the Dragon–318 curves in 11 miles.
An engineer did a “look” at what that meant: AN ENGINEER’S VIEW OF THE DRAGON
I did a run on it in May, need to get back down there before Winter.

Two things. First, I try to always bring some brownies or something when I visit people I know from online, and I’m making an effort to do that with a lot of you.
Second, I’m not good enough at photography to make a living at it. But I’m definitely knowledgeable enough to recognize skill vs. hacks. If you go, there’s honestly very little reason to waste any time looking at any of the photo sites other than Killboy’s.
Oh, and I do a wicked cayenne pepper brownie now as well. It is a shame that tarts won’t hold up well in the motorcycle luggage though.
