No blood in the trails?
When national parks started following state law regarding carrying of weapons, there were cries from editorial boards and anti-gunners (but I repeat myself) of increased violence. But, like guns in bars, nothing happened.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

I just spent the better part of 6 days running around Yellowstone with my Kimber on my hip. Amazingly, no one got shot and no fuzzy-wuzzy animals were poached. Heck, I didn’t get any negative comments at all, maybe half a dozen positive, and most people, including the rangers I was around, didn’t seem to care. Sure, I saw some obviously surprised reactions, ( and with my very limited understanding of French I overheard some surprised remarks ) but it was no big deal. I did meet one other gentleman and his son who were OC’ing, and they seemingly had encountered no issues either.

I remember hearing an antigunner being questioned about one of the new laws that would cause blood in the streets and was asked why that same prediction from a year before about a previous law had not caused any blood in the street. Her reply was “not yet”.
