Maybe a wrong house raid will get good media coverage now?
Oops: Feds Wrongly Raid Home Of CBS Correspondent In Alameda:
I see what turns out to be eight uniformed, armored, armed officers – four of which are pointing guns through the window at my face.

I misread that as “eight uninformed, armored, armed officers” which sadly is probably just as accurate.

Don’t be silly! It will be ignored to the extent possible, as always.
It was interesting to note the change in tone as soon as they were told that a CBS correspondent was in the house, though. I may have to try that myself if they ever kick in my door.
Then again, I might not get the chance.

Good thing they don’t have a dog

Robb, I read it the same way. And it didn’t cause me to bat an eye.

3 fucking months???? That is how long it had been since the suspected drug dealers had lived there… There is such thing as DUE DILIGENCE!!!!!!!

I got this from Ry, last night. As I stated here, I’ll repeat in Uncles comments.
Seriously if the law is to the point where you can screw the pooch so hard that your dick is coming out his mouth and still are covered by qualified immunity, why bother doing due diligence in the first place?

If you’ve done nothing wrong, you have nothing to fear. Just keep repeating that.

Actually, the home security sign on my door includes “CBS Correspondent on the premises.” So far it’s worked great!

Where did this “correspondent” learn to write the American language? Whom not which.

@Bob – I think the “correspondent” was taking a stab at English, not American.
