Stop me if you’ve heard this one: I’m a gun owner but . . .
PSH from spotting an open carrier in the snack aisle.

Name me a constitutional right and I’ll show you someone scared of it and therefore willing to limit other people from exercising it.

The snack aisle does *far* more damage to society than any one doing a OC Wally-Walk.

Sub-head reads “We shouldn’t do things that are outrageous just because law says we can”. In that light I would like to note I just saw a black woman refuse to give up her seat on a bus to a white man – I am outraged, so all together now… “We shouldn’t do things that are outrageous just because law says we can”.
Oh, and Chuck Avery is a pathetic tool.

I sent him this email:
Dear Sir:
Reading your column about open carry bigotry gave me a splendid idea. Let’s play the “I have no problem with _____, but…” game! It’s easy to do; you simply use the preceeding statement and substitute an object or behavior in the first blank, and end with a hyperbolic statement after the word “but.” That is:
I have no problem with CARS, but I don’t think people should operate them over 5mph.
I have no problem with BLACK PEOPLE, but I don’t think they should ride the same buses as white folk.
I have no problem with HOUSES, but I think everyone should have an apartment instead.
I have no problem with SPELUNKING, but I don’t think anyone should go into a cave deeper than 150 feet.
I have no problem with SODOMY, but I think it should only be performed by consenting adult heterosexuals, not gays.
See how easy it is? You can wow your friends and family with your newfound ability to deflect guilt or shame for your bigotry by simply telling everyone that you have no problem with “X,” so long as it is the type of “X” with which you do not have a problem!
Sincerely,
M Gallo (a person who does not have a problem with “elitists,” so long as they are not spouting off about restricting my rights. See what I did there?)

I get so tired of the “just because you can doesn’t mean you should” argument. People don’t open carry just because they can. They open carry because of the advantages over concealed carry.
