In light of the AG removing the de facto prohibition on suppressors in Michigan, an article on sellers gearing up to sell them notes the benefits of using suppressors. Very cool. Also, gun shops reporting many requests from customers.
On twitter: If you’re a member of Mayors Against Illegal Guns, you’re 3 times more likely to be a criminal than the general population.
It is a long list.
Suddenly, my netbook is saying windows 7 is not valid. I upgraded from xp over a year ago from Microsoft’s site. A website set off my malware program right before but it cleaned it up. Any ideas?

Michigan Attorney General opinion 7260 says it’s OK for law-abiding citizens to buy and use sound suppressors. It likely always has been but was never allowed in the state.
The press release notes the safety benefits of firearm suppressors. Suppress your firearms, it’s the polite thing to do:
While you can never completely silence a firearm, muffling the sound will be appreciated by neighbors in the vicinity of lawful firearm use.

Officer draws gun on woman and tells her to restrain her unleashed dog. While she’s grabbing for the dog, the officer opens fire on the dog. Way to be sure of your target! The officer shoots the dog. The officer then points the gun at her and her sister. And, to add insult to injury, tickets the woman for violating leash laws.
The latter being all that should have been done in the first place.
A common theme in these stories is that the victim is always identified. And no one identifies the officers involved. Name them and shame.
I’m not sure what they’re doing at that North Coast Blogshoot, but I question the timing: 3,000 Pair of Panties Found Along Ohio Highway
Despite the ‘shake-up’ at DOJ, Issa and Grassley won’t slow down their investigation.
And by ‘shake-up’, we mean token reassignment.
Good: A woman used a gun to fight off two men who forced their way into her house after spray painting racial epithets outside early Thursday, officials said.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
