Very nice.
I have always wanted to own a Nowlin.
I also like the PPC style 1911s, as well as the PPC 357 mag revolvers.
Nowlin’s still in Business? Cool!

I can’t help it. JMB designed a pistol around the 9mm Parabellum cartridge. It’s called a Browning Hi-Power.
Putting a 9×19 into a 1911 frame is almost as strange as getting a .22 LR adapter for your Barrett. It just defeats the whole point, actually.
9×23 or something? Maybe. But 9×19?
