Looks like he’ll probably lose his instructor’s certification over it.
The Texas Department of Public Safety certifies individuals to teach coursework and provide training required to be taken by individuals seeking to qualify for a Texas concealed handgun license. Certified instructors are required to comply with all applicable state and federal statutes. Conduct by an instructor that denied service to individuals on the basis of race, ethnicity or religion would place that instructor’s certification by the Department at risk of suspension or revocation. The Department became aware of the statements in question yesterday and has begun an investigation into the matter. The Department will take appropriate administrative action based on the findings from the investigation.
How does he know what a “Liberal” is? Lots of Clean Cut Socialists up in DC. Just look at C-Span Hearings when they are talking to White House and Obama Administration people.
“I know something of the good of Moammar Gadhafi that made me love him as a brother and to feel a great sense of loss at his assassination,” Farrakhan said during an interview with host Cliff Kelley on WVON-AM in Chicago.
Mosque Maryam, the Nation of Islam’s international headquarters in Chicago, was purchased 40 years ago with a $3 million loan from Gadhafi, the Chicago Tribune reported. But Farrakhan said his admiration for the Libyan leader was not linked to his money or power.
Farrakhan acknowledged that Gadhafi had killed people but asserted that all world leaders, including President Obama, are responsible for killing as well.
“Did he kill people? Well, did our president kill people?” Farrakhan said.
Where is the outrage about this? I have seen only one report on this on TV but I saw many about the gun class. If Farrakan had made the statement that he was teaching a class only for liberals and Muslims do you think he would have the same outrage toward him?

And lots of freaky-looking libertarians/conservatives/classical-Liberals all over the country – I wouldn’t be surprised if someone simply assumed I was some sort of pinko, based on look stereotypes. (Oh, how wrong they’d be.)
Texas’ DoS will do well to bear in mind that the statement was made as part of a commercial. That’s advertising, folks, and as the Court has made clear, you can say damn near anything you want in ads as long as you are not contradicting the federal health tyrants. Unless and until this storeowner/instructor actually does refuse a client under those conditions, he has not committed any crime, criminal or civil. Yet if the DoS takes action beforehand, they – not he – will be violating law.
Unless there’s a specific Texas statute that bans him from refusing service based on religion(interestingly enough, the federal CRA does not cover religion based discrimination by private business) or voting, the Texas DoS won’t have a legit reason to revoke his license.
Hey, I am still trying to figure out how to reconcile being a White Nationalist with how much I like my Very Darkly-Complected housemate! I think I will finesse it as his being a fellow autie.
That ethnic group is more “mine” than my fellow white folks, who never seemed to care for me anyway.
I think it is perfectly OK to deny service to individuals on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, or any other damn’ criterion which comes to mind. It’s a free country, ain’t it?
P,s. I do understand that when one is doing business under a license from the State, one is required to teach everybody who shows up, the State no longer making distinctions between different sorts of people.

Indeed he does. And we have every right to point out he’s hurting, not helping, the RKBA.
