It’s extremely disappointing that a company that has built its reputation on quality has left this unaddressed for so long. I am aware that the Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s Capitol Police purchased these pistols and had issues with them. My source says that SIG would not acknowledge that the problem was the pistol itself and that the pistols were eventually returned to SIG as trade-ins for another model.
I wonder what kind of trouble they are having. I have a 250 in 9mm, and have had no failures of anykind. Admittedly, I have only put about 250 rounds through it.

I will have to stay tuned.

I have the P250 in .40 and have had no issues with it (~1,000 rounds).
Interesting.

This might explain why Gander Mountain was selling them for $350 last week.

Thanks Chris. I will keep watching, and shooting the thing to see if it acts up.
Maybe I got lucky and got a decent one, but I guess that won’t make lick of difference on its resale value!
