That’s nothing. I saw one video (I won’t bother looking for the link; others have better google-fu than me) where one guy cut a large plastic cutting board into sections, heat-fused them together, then hand-machined the lower. Guns will always exist until a better weapon comes along.

Used to work with a man who’d been a master machinist longer than I’ve been alive.
His standard answer when you brought him a part and asked “Can you make one of these?” was “Somebody made that one didn’t they?”
And I’ll be darned if you couldn’t give him anything and he’d turn out a replica in a day or so…
