Sig MK25 for civilian market
Take a Sig P226 and engrave an anchor on it.
For the record, yeah it’s more than that. But that anchor is what people seem to want.

The phosphate finish is going to be a big selling point for those of us who aren’t land lubbers. Salt water is the most corrosive environment you can immerse yourself in.
Go for a 3 day sail, and the interior of your boat will at some point be filled with a nice salt water mist. Anything not protected will corrode. Even “marine grade” stuff will corrode.
Which I suppose is why the Navy wanted a better sidearm for salt water.

Anyone want to bet that the Navy ain’t paying $1100+ apiece?

The DoD is probably paying $1500+…

The sights and phosphate coating are tempting; I’d probably buy one if I could get it without the anchor and bar code sticker.
