And it took these “Eggheads” three years to come to this conclusion.
It’s also a good example of the totalitarian nature of the EU. Was this ruling voted on? Was there any sort of democratic or representative approval process?
Also for EU member states, you’re not a soverign nation is some busybody in another country can limit free speech at a whim.
If water doesn’t hydrate, the folks at the EU who have propagated this anti-free speech law, which makes it a crime to advertise that water hydrates, need to refrain from drinking it.
Prof Brian Ratcliffe, spokesman for the Nutrition Society, said dehydration was usually caused by a clinical condition and that one could remain adequately hydrated without drinking water.
He said: “The EU is saying that this does not reduce the risk of dehydration and that is correct.
“This claim is trying to imply that there is something special about bottled water which is not a reasonable claim.”

seems these. . . people. . . are saying that because water is not the only thing that can hydrate you that you cant claim that it does. that one statement about water not “reducing the risk of dehydration” is patently false though. its even in the root meaning of the word “dehydration” basically means “without water.”
I always think they cannot get any dumber. Truly I am a fool. Dare I ask what can possibly top this?
