I keep an M&P 9C in a Gun Vault mini by my headboard, and have been considering a holster for the gun while in the vault. Why? because if I’m grabbing that pistol it’s 2 AM and something just came crashing through my back door-I’d hate to booger hook the bang switch in my haste. This seems perfect for that application.
I practice opening the lock/grabbing the pistol with both hands regularly, but I worry about the groggy/not yet awake factor.
Actually, the Fricke holster is pretty nice. I had to sand gently a small part of my Glock. It isn’t as comfy as my Brommeland holster, but it works at NOT adding bulk to a relatively thick CCW piece.
