Thank goodness law enforcement is taking the use of mary-jane seriously. All of the violence, killings, overdoses and all that, they should throw some more money at stopping it. Good thing they took this thought criminal off the force, and now the folks there are much safer… Thank goodness the children are safe!
It’s lose/lose for the department. It comes down to which form of CYA looks best to them at the time. They can either be seen as hypocrites for enforcing laws their own officers oppose, or the can seem like jerks for firing a guy based on ideology. That’s what insane laws do to us– they’re a trap from which no one will escape unscathed. Have some pity on the poor pieces of shit.
