Not that I ever wondered but . . .
I Shall Explain Paul Krugman. I could have done it in fewer words: hack.

Unc, let me try. Paul Krugman deserved his Nobel as much as BHO deserved his!

Might actually be compelling if he pointed out something Paulie got wrong.
PK actually went back and did admit he was wrong about oil speculation. I wonder if that blogger has ever done as much.

STB, rhetorical question: can anyone who parrots the liberal line as closely as Krugman does, ever be correct? Use logic to answer, please.

Krugman passed hack and went straight to brazen liar years ago.

And for Sebastien, I would point out that Krugman has been caught calling “bizarre” concepts found in his own textbook. His attempt at a defense was complete sophistry.
Add in the columns where he just writes a whole column making the “broken window fallacy” and “Hack” remains a compliment to Krugman.

Rivrdog: Krugman has been about 75% accurate in his predictions over time according to the Financial Times. The only economist better is Nouriel Roubini. You can google him. If you want to see folks who are never right on anything just read Allan Meltzer or Larry Lindsey. It’s a rule of thumb in the economics world: What ever those two say, bet the other way.
