That chocolate 1911 looks awesome!!
I finally got a 1911. Having trouble with casings being dented, or staying in the extractor on cycle, but I still love it.
Springfield Armory GI 45 Mil-spec from 2003.

There seem to be quite a few 1911s in the $500 – $600 range on the market these days.
Perhaps not coincidentally, this is the price range of Glocks.
From what I see on 1911 forums, people are buyint a lot of them.
I saw a 1911 tequila bottle in the Simi Valley Costco last week, among a few other fire(water)arms. I should have snapped some shots of them.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
