The AK-12
Even police dogs. Also, it’s a bit unnerving given the increase in police shootings of dogs that the police response to the incident is to talk about what a good dog the out of control animal is and what the dog did in service.
Also, as someone who used to help train police dogs, this dog attacked an 8 year-old and, thankfully, didn’t do a lot of damage. Seems the dog is focused on the sleeve.
Tam and Roberta went. Unsurprisingly, the press account can’t be corroborated by people who were there. Pathetic.
The Sig P290 is getting a new trigger. I handled those at the gun show this past weekend and I did like the size.
I also handled the Diamondback DB9 and liked its feel.
Anyone try either of these?
The case against the pocket 9. I know I don’t need a pocket 9. But I’m basically simplifying my ammo stores. I may even dump my 45s.

Details from John. Not sure what to make of it, really, but the case didn’t seem that strong to me.
I am now sans .380. Moving to a pocket 9mm. I have a PM9 as a loner and I like that I can hop on Amazon and order a holster for it.
Holster hasn’t arrived yet so I’ve not got to try out pocket carrying a larger gun. But it handles and feels nice.
Update: Oh and if Glock or the S&W M&P people would start making single stack 9mms, the gun world would thank you.
ACLU Blog: The Senate is going to vote on whether Congress will give this president—and every future president — the power to order the military to pick up and imprison without charge or trial civilians anywhere in the world.
They want to fund a fingerprint database. That means our permits are priced too high.
How Freedom Group became the industry big shot? Also, they mention some gun bloggers. And I’m glad this Freedom Group Conspiracy theory is being called out for the rubbish it is.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
