60 rounder
A review of the Surefire high capacity magazines. Neat concept but for the price, I can get near a ten pack of P-Mags or more than a ten pack of Brownells mags.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

Nick Leghorn is a great writer and does wonderful reviews, but do we really need to feed the troll he works for?

Just remember your state laws. Because of Ohio Revised Code 2923.11 (E), this makes the AR an “automatic” weapon, and while it is legal to own both the magazine, and the firearm, when you put them together, you are guilty of breaking the law š
(E) Automatic firearm means any firearm designed or specially adapted to fire a succession of cartridges with a single function of the trigger. Automatic firearm also means any semi-automatic firearm designed or specially adapted to fire more than thirty-one cartridges without reloading, other than a firearm chambering only .22 caliber short, long, or long-rifle cartridges.

But it really only matters if you break some other law too. You shouldn’t be charged just with that.

A friend brought one on a major shooting trip a couple of months ago. It was a miserable failure. That magazine failed so badly that it was completely out of commission for the rest of the trip. I was disappointed, but it’s a lot of engineering to fail for having two mags that you know both work. That said, I’d still get one if they gain a reputation for being completely reliable.
