End the war on drugs and release the prisoners
The war on some drugs is responsible for the militarization of the police. There’s a time for the police to put on ninja gear and get all tactical. But that should not be SOP.
That makes me unpatriotic.

Saw a cool bumper sticker the other day. It said,”Critical Thinking: The Other National Deficit..”

I find it funny the H. Post complains about the “militarization” of the police but then complains about civilians having anything more dangerous than string, and even that had better be registered.
I’m not in favor of the “war on drugs”.

There are an awful lot of law enforcement groups with a self-interest in perpetuating the War on Drugs. They may end up being a larger obstacle to ending the war than the cowardly politicians who are afraid of soft-on-crime accusations.
