I actually saw something like this happen once in a cop bar in Indianapolis. Early 90’s…two “urban yoots” failed to do the proper recon before executing their plan.

As they were being cuffed, the one kid said (insert appropriate 16th St. accent here) “A cop bar? You gotta be kidding me!”….then, “let me hit him, just once”.

We all laughed for a long time.

I’ve seen stories of this kind of thing happening before too. I think once it was actually the police station itself they were trying to rob if I remember right.

The cops can’t or won’t do proper recon on their drug busts. Why should the criminals be better at it?
