So it looks like the “Invisible Hand” has dictated that cheap, reliable, working-class pistols sell well. And even HiPoints out sell Glock, H+K, Sig, Kimber, Colt, FN….
Of course, I don’t have an MBA from Harvard, but if I was running some of these Gun Companies…..
Well, they sell more Chevies than Caddies for the same reason. I understand that there are a lot of people that can’t afford $500 plus for a handgun. But the problem with the tiny guns like the featured Keltec and Ruger LCP is that they’re difficult to shoot for very long. You’re not going to go to the range and put a couple hundred rounds through ’em. One should be able to stay very familiar with the gun one carries.
AFA the Highpoint, there’s no other way to say this;
They’re junk. Please don’t ever carry one of those things. I’ve seen them literally fall apart on the range. If money is tight, buy a better quality used gun. Stay safe.
Ugh, a hi-point. Man thats an UGLY cheap gun. Had a guy with a hi-point 45 come in looking for a holster. He couldn’t understand why none of the better holster makers didn’t have a modle for his pistol. I had to explain to him that he owned a brick that wasn’t even as reliable as a brick.
Jeez, whats next, a lorcin?
