Unfortunately, the Empty Chamber Myth seems to be hold over from the days of Fixed Firing Pins in Revolver. Remember the old “Hammer the Hammer” ad? Also, there’s the spill over from those Israeli Schools that say one should always be in Condition 3, because you never know when some Palestinian Terrorist will snatch your Pistol off you as you walk through a crowded Tel Aviv street.
If they would only learn that nothing Bad will happen with Modern Firearms as long as one keeps their Booger Switch off the Trigger until it’s time to shoot….
