This is great, but I wonder whether the same Court would have cut billable hours and attorney rates if the matter had involved forging new jurisprudence in an area of racial or sex discrimination.
I actually don’t wonder very much, because we all know what the Court would do.
The litigation was mandated by DC’s flagrantly unConstitutional ordinance – not because Dick Heller was a litigious individual.
Heller’s place in history should be along side Rosa Parks.
