I’m actually half-surprised that nobody’s started making them again as a curiosity or boutique thing.
Modern technology and materials might make them useable, if not really competitive with traditional firearms.
(Now, with an NFA exemption ala shotguns for bore size, it could be interesting for larger game hunting for the recoil-averse, I guess…)
Something tells me that the ATF has a loophole ready to shut down any modern version of the GyroJet.
You’ve got four ounces of propellant and a quarter ounce of payload to work with.
