And photos of the Detonics MTX-H. Looks pretty nice. As I said before, it looks like the love child of a 1911 and something made by FN.

A man cleaning his muzzle-loading rifle shot the gun into the air, accidentally killing a 15-year-old Amish girl driving a horse-drawn buggy more than a mile away, a sheriff said Tuesday.
Justice Dept. blames critics for noticing Holder’s race-card play
Stop me if you’ve heard this before: they blame Bush.
I like living in a world where law professors are blogging about choosing Aimpoints over EOTech. I prefer the EOTech for a few reasons but the training community tends to favor Aimpoints for durability and battery life. I think I could switch and be perfectly happy.
Also, a nice breakdown from Lyle on the different types and explaining co-witnessing.

10 weird things about Kim Jon Il. He, apparently, didn’t poop. And was just bug fuck nuts. And the people supposedly believe all this stuff. Some one needs to drop some internet in NK.
Caleb talks about his journey to tacticool ninjadom and the cheap guns he had on the way. People tend to presume that it’s snobby or elitist to rag on cheap guns. He also offers up ‘cheap’ guns he likes.
Thankfully, I never had to go through that. When I turned 21, I went right out and bought myself my first handgun. I bought a used Smith and Wesson 6904. I was proud of myself. And I showed it to my dad. He handled it a bit. Then looked at me and said take it back and get your money back. He went to his closet, grabbed a Sig Sauer P228 and handed it to me. Told me it was mine, to take the S&W back and give him whatever money I got back for it.
He explained to me not to skimp on a gun. And that I didn’t need the safeties and what not. And he’d rather give me one of his. So, I was introduced to gun snobbery early. I carried Sigs for years, having several different models. I don’t have any any more since I went to Glocks a few years back because my wife couldn’t pull the DA trigger on the Sig.
And dad has his Sig back now.
This weekend (as you can tell), I did some gun maintenance. I decided to improve my M&P trigger. Searching around, I decided on the combination Apex Tactical parts I wanted to 1) improve the feel of reset and 2) get the pull to about four pounds.
First, I went with the RAM or Reset Assist Mechanism. I put that in first and it was fairly easy. And, let me tell you, if you have an M&P you need this. Trouble with the M&P trigger is that it’s, for lack of a better word, smooth. And the reset is smooth and there’s no real feel for it. I discovered this during gun school and Tom Givens was trying to get us to shoot on reset. I could only do it about 60% of the time. The RAM goes where the safety lever would be and the trigger bar slides under it. When the guard goes forward, you get the satisfying click of reset that is missing on the stock trigger. Highly recommended.
Next, I wanted to lighten it but not so light that I couldn’t carry it. I went with the Apex Tactical Hard Sear. This lightens the pull, makes it smoother, and improves reset and over travel. Install is easy and it’s well worth it.
1 in three will be arrested by the age of 23. Quote:
Arrest is a pretty common experience
That is sad.
I was impressed with the new 2011 V6 Mustangs. They could hang with tactical car up to 110mph, unless they had to turn. Well, some one took the limiter off their new Mustang and, at 135MPH, the drive shaft fell out.
