The odd thing is, the day after Peter Figoski got shot all my cop friends were running the RIP’s and blue lines on various social sites.
Not so with Capano. Infact the night it happened I contacted one of my NCPD friends who works around here to be sure it wasn’t him. His response was simply “Officer injured, perp in custody”. Just that short.
They sure get quiet when they screw the pooch, its almost eerie. I wonder if they have some sort of gag order, to try to keep the FUBAR situation quiet?
Number one reason off-duty cops are shot by other officers is they suddenly turn with their hands at their waist, often thrusting a shiny object (badge) toward the officer.
Anyone think that is wise behavior if someone has a gun on you?
