OK, is it just me or do the dimensions of the key look off?
About 8 years ago there was a flat handcuff key being sold. The concept was that it could be taped to the back of a watch or belt buckle and then broken apart to unlock a set of handcuffs. I got one and I was unable to get it to fit into any sets of handcuffs due to the flat design. It caught up against the pin and would not enter the keyhole properly.
I like the concept, I just wonder if it works properly or if it is just for show. Obviously, I’ll probably end up buying one or two just to play with them.

Beat me to it divemedic. It’s illegal in a number of states.

I was going to say what divemedic said: this looks like one of those things that some jurisdictions consider crime implementation tools. One of those laws you don’t even know about that makes bad case law and further promotes the handcuff key company.

We got a Law Enforcement bulletin about these at work about 10 months ago. I saw it and wanted one, and honestly couldn’t find them online.
