On the M&P9

“2,750 At Least (Because I Lost Count At Blogorado) Round Challenge”. Still no malfs.
I’ve not had any malfunctions either but I’m only at about the 500 round mark.

M+P looks better to me every day.

I’ve had exactly 2 stove-pipe extraction failures in mine, both from the same batch of TulAmmo steel cased cheap stuff… otherwise, similar numbers. Zero malfunctions with any brass cased stuff.

Expect it. I have twice that through my Sigma using every 9mm ammo I can get my hands on, and I have on FTF on a single round of white box refurb ammo, and it had a primer strike.
S&W continues to make quality products, and their customer service is *beyond* outstanding.

Well, I blame the MA trigger on mine, but both the full size M&P45 and the compact M&P9 have had feeding issues with slightly out-of-spec ammunition. The 9 *hated* Blazer aluminum cased ammo, and the 45 wouldn’t feed slightly imperfect WWB .45 ACP.
Only a couple of instances out of ~ 400 rounds so far, but still of note.

No problems here even with cheap steel cased stuff.
