Again, I have stated this on different sites in the recent past. About half of my MP platoon had Serpa holsters. I had my church raise the money to buy the rest of the platoon Serpa holsters. Veteran LEOs and newbies out of training alike. Not one issue with the holster. Not even close.
LEOs especially need retention holsters. Grappling with a detainee/suspect/bad guy is not when you want to worry about weapon retention.
A professional golfer can blame his clubs all day. But only those with an interest will notice that he/she used the exact same clubs in the previous victory.
The Department of Staplers and Other Paper-Fasteners (DSOPF) needs armed agents to prevent criminal use of office machinery in the commission of crime.
Maybe I have weird fingers but when I draw from a Serpa my trigger finger is straight and stiff. I push in with the whole finger and I end up with my finger straight and stiff along the frame, just below the slide, gripping the pistol firmly.

I’ve never had an issue with them either. Of course, I’ve never operated one under stress.

This is going to get interesting…if I remember correctly the Border Patrol issue holster is a Serpa.

Well, one other little Tid Bit I noticed in Caleb’s post. FLETC trains 90 FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES?

I have no opinion on the holster. I will say you won the Blog Post Title of the Week Award, though.

Wake me up when they pass a ban on negligent discharges and it accomplishes something.
