I like the idea. Bolting an AR to the wall would make a great conversation piece.
Bolt is the right term for that locking mechanism.

Wow. Two minutes of information packed into nearly eight.
It looks like you could just cut off the bottom of the trigger guard and yank the gun out.

If it’s attached with two wood screws, what’s gonna stop me from prying it off the wall with a Wonder Bar?
