Gayest Cities

Apparently, some people are butthurt because Knoxville is about as gay as this video. And a WNBA team is a criteria for a city’s level of gayness?

They’re so angry that, apparently, the news paper shut down comments.

Isn’t it odd how gay a decade looks from the future? The 70s look pretty gay, as do the 80s. Just remember that that video is just as old now as Howdy Doody was when that video was made.

Used to be a Knoxville cop, was how I paid my way through the University of Tennessee. I kid you not, there is a loop through down-town that is known locally (if you run in “that” circle) as the “Fabulous 500”, and more derogatory versions that I will let you guess at.

For whatever reason, K-town was the place to meet up for out-of-town rendezvous from the surrounding country side. More than once I had to run such a meetup out of the graveyard on Sutherland Ave where it meets up with Kingston Pk (theres a conveniently located “adult” store right there on the pike).

And they dont need the WNBA, they have the Lady Vols basketball team.
